Wow! I didn't think I'd see this in my lifetime. Didn't see any air to air in the last video so I figured we were still miles away. Fingers crossed. Go Richard!

Not sure how much air to air you will get with the Longbow anyways. If you are taking Apache's into an area without air supremacy you probably will find a lot of shot down Longbows. I'm sure we will see something eventually.

A Tachyon storm apparently hit Michigan. It probably snuck in with the snow...

Yes, I've asked for it to be archived.
Too bad. Still looking for a good apache sim. I guess I need to start looking at mods.

I know a lot of people have been "having a go" at Richard and the team for not completing this sim. I hope they don't assume that is how we all feel.
It was all going well until they had the carpet pulled from under them by their game engine. It's near impossible to come back from something as fundamental as that. As others have said I'm gutted that it has died. Maybe they took on too much at one time, I don't know.
Anyway, I wish the whole team every success in their future ventures.
Cheers,
Andy

Andy I fully agree with you AndyB. This makes me wonder if the (best) future for flight simulations isn't by having a single (or a couple of) modular game engine dedicated and/or optimized for flight simulations where several flight sim developers could develop their simulations/games from? The fee paid by flight sim developers for that game engine should/would be very small like for example a small percentage of every sold copy of the developed simulation/game.

It's been 6.5 years. At this point, unless it's made as a DCS module it isn't going to happen.
