It is so strange that everting is running fine, even at high activity, but after landing and use cntrl Q for ending the campaign mode the game crashed Remove every overclock and back to stock same problem. RAM Memory is fine nothing wrong detected. System is complete clean from dust by using compressed air spraycan temp, load are monitored and below criticall limits Fresh reinstall Mods only the mission mod from B??? and News mod Using that buggy JSetc tool but no mods have been swapped, because of that fresh install compatible mode for Win7 and XP3 did not help and crash was now at the Loading........ before the campaign started.
Virusscan is MS defender but has been excluded to scan Woff, no internet, windows phone home has been disconnected. All drivers are new and no beta drivers like for AMD card Win10 64bit i5-2500k HD7970 8gb Ram 256 gb SSD
Would a reinstall directX9 help in this case.

Not sure it would help WOFF, but disable campaign videos and music in WOFF Workshop and see if that helps.
If it used to work fine, and now it doesn't you need to work out what is new/changed on the PC.
Some AV in the past I noticed I had to uninstall temporarily to double check not just exclude. Had that with other programs, the AV low filter driver always is running below everything otherwise.

I just went through the same issue with OBD support helping me. Disabled video and sounds in the workshop and the problem seemed to go away. I did reinstall DX9, but it seems that with the audio option turned back on I still get an intermittent crash to desktop. I think the problem is to do with a DX12 .dll (WmNetMgr.dll) which is baked into Windows 10. I'm digging around for info on whether a Windows update might have corrupted it. I really don't want to have to reinstall Win10!! I would like to have Matt's score playing, but I'm ok to have it turned off for now.

Dutch, I found something.... try this to re-register the .dll in question. It's working for me so far(3 missions in a row successfully exited)....
Note: Make sure you are running the computer as administrator.
Step 1: Run the command with elevated privileges, to do this, follow the steps below: a. Click on start and in the start search bar type CMD, right click on the command prompt icon in the programs area and then click on run as administrator. b. at the command prompt type regsvr32 wmnetmgr.dll and then press enter.

where to give the commando in C: directory or in C:/windos/system32 ???
Btw I still want to reinstall the DirectX9 drivers just in case a Windows10 update made them corrupt, is the link in the FAQ sticky still the right one?

Yes FAQ is correct. DX9 file you need is in your WOFF install in the Toolbox folder. Run it, choose a folder to unpack to, when done, go to that folder, and launch DXSetup.
Thanks Harry will add that to the FAQ.

Pol then it is better to make that fix in FAQ complete, read this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/940029I will also do a complete Woff reinstall only now I'm not installing any mods or that JSetc mod swap tool, still suspect that this JShit, is the mother of all crashes, when using Win10.

You can do it from either. As for DX9, use the one included in the WOFF toolbox. H

The harmless test is to just disable music and campaign videos first and test. If it works then you likely have this issue, then do the more possibly destructive regsvr fix. Thanks Dutch - one thing though the KB article points to playing media from a network and specifically not from a hard drive which is odd. Anyway if it works good

Hey, here's a "So stupid, it's simple" solution.
I got a brand new Win10 system. WOFF ran very nicely, but would crash on about every third exit from a mission. I turned off videos. Still crashed.
I then went to Windows Media Player and, while installed, it wasn't configured (which amounted to selecting one of two options and clicking OK).
Crashes gone.
Probably not a solution for long time system owners. But if you are wondering why your brand new system is crashing, you might want to try this.

I can confirm what Deacon211 has said, recent Win 10 build, and game crashed when exiting a mission. Soon as I configured win media player, (thought I already did) no more crashes, so far.

Very odd, another Windows 10 quirk I am afraid, it seems to have a fair few for various programs. We have not changed anything in WOFF related to exiting a mission, or playing videos/sound for a very long time.

In my case I need to exit WoFF PE before flying a next mission.
