I forgot China's version of the same. You should ask me. ![tuner tuner](/forum/images/graemlins/default/tunes.gif) Chinese version of SKS is type 56 semi-automatic rifle. As far I know, the condition of 1960's PLA infantry squad is squad leader and sergeant took type 56 SMG(the name is wrong! It is Chines version of AK-47), others took type 56 semi-automatic rifle, plus type 56 LMG, it is Chines version of RPD. In fact, China start to produce type 63 assault rifle since 1969, I don't think it will appear in that DLC. PLA'S APC is type 63 APC( know as WZA531 by foreigner), it was developed by China herself. PLA also have T-34/76, T-34/85,IS-2, ISU-122,ISU-152 and type59 tank (Chinese version of T-55), I don't know the condition very clear. About PLAAF, they have J-6(F-6) it isChinese version of MIG-19, and J-5(F-5), it is Chinese version of MIG-17. and IL-10.H-5(B-5), it is Chinese version of IL-28.

Chinese armored vehicles were not present there in real world. And the game will not be. All that was used on the Chinese side is known about the piece, as it was taken by Soviet border guards as trophies.

I knew the history, a small group PLA was surrouned and eliminated by Soviet army, so... is it all about the DLC?

I knew the history, a small group PLA was surrouned and eliminated by Soviet army, so... is it all about the DLC? Three/four groups of Chinese soldiers over 120+ men total, that crossed USSR-China border, are dispelled and partially eliminated (19 killed, 3 captured) by small groups of Soviet border guards (not Soviet army) approx 50 men total. Yes DLC is only about this "event", not about Chinese army or vehicles. You can play as USSR border guards (not Soviet Army) or as Chinese intruders.

I do not disguise neither Soviet nor border guards very strictly.
I think the content will be very little if it only represent the event itself.

My suggestion is you can create a operation which represent the history event, and create hypothetical operation which represent if both sides are prepared and move armor regiment or other troops to joint that border conflict.
As far as I know, those names of Chinese commanders are as follows,
1. Central combat group, Yang Zhenlin, Deputy commander of 1st infantry company from Tacheng military sub-district infantry battalion
2. South covering group, Fan Jinzhong, Commander of 1st infantry company from Tacheng military sub-district infantry battalion
3. North covering group, Xiao Fagang, Deputy commander of 1st cavalry company from Tacheng military sub-district infantry battalion
4. Reserved group, the commanders' name is not very clear because the group did not joint the operation.
5. Forward command post, Kang Youfu, battalion commander of Tacheng military sub-district infantry battalion.

I have some information about organizations of PLA armor regiment, but too much information about PLA are still secret, I can only estimate those information by news or official report.
I think if PLA want armor division to joint the operation, maybe it is 4th tank division, it is deployed in LanZhou, or those independent tank regiment, 1st, 6st 7st, 8st MBT regiment and 2nd, 32nd HT regiment.

If the vehicles and weapons in the form of 3D models with textures fell to us from heaven, I can be and I thought would be another option. But so far only in the borders of the conflict, nothing more. As far as I know, those names of Chinese commanders are as follows,
This list for Zhalanashkol? Somehow a lot of troops, there's a stretch to two companies involved by USSR data. And then almost runs into the battalion. About platoons commanders know something?

It is the list of Zhalanashkol ( We called it Tielietike). The total amount is about 100 men. Reserved group and Forward command post do not actually appear in battle. 1. Forward command post, 13 men. 2. South covering group, 17 men 3. North covering group, 20 men 4. Reserved group, 36 men 5. Forward command post, 27 men. We have not got a Chinese official report about it, but news in 1969 and veteran said forward command post and the whole Military district did not know that Soviet army were prepared, battalion commander request Reserved group not joint the battle to avoid meaningless casualties.
