Will be placing my order for a black extension here shortly. With my Crosswind pedals on the way, this is the only thing left I need for my setup. I just have to determine what length I think will work best for me. I have certainly read a lot of good things these extension do for the Warthog, and as I fly mainly helicopters currently in DCS I think it will be a great addition for me.
I have a 7.5cm black extension on the way to me, looking forward to trying it out.
Had a hard time deciding on the length, so I just got the shorter one and wanted to try just setting the Warthog base between my legs and using it that way.

I had a 10cm one that I used that way. Worked really well. I could rest my arm on my leg and my hand was at the right height to grasp the stick. Plus you can offset the joystick like in the real A-10C. Makes it even better.

Sajaj, or anyone else with the 20cm length extension....how does the standard Warthog spring cope with this throw? Is it enough to auto-centre comfortably every time or is it right on the limit?
On the Eighth day God created Paratroopers and the Devil stood to attention.
I am selling quite a lot of 20 cm pieces, to be honest it is quite on the limit in terms of the centering force of the original Warthog spring, you can watch my new videos :
just wanted to chime in on this wonderful product.
Recently got my black 7.5cm extension. The difference in flying is truly night and day. I cannot emphasize enough the difference it makes. Only now does the Warthog feel and work like the nearly €400 equipment that it is.
I use the Warthog with DCS, Warthunder, Elite Dangerous, etc. While I am still getting used to the increased throw, my combat abilities have already noticably improved and my wrist does not hurt anymore, due to the strength of the spring being negated to a useful and comfortable degree.
The trouble with jogging is that, by the time you realize you're not in shape for it, it's too far to walk back.

Hi just got my 20cm Warthog extension, beautifully crafted, and allowing me to fly at least with precision my A2A Spit, P47 and 51! I think the 20cm extension comes closest to the real length, but I will need to put stronger springs into the base!! If someone already has an adress to get springs he is welcomed!
I have one of Sahaj's black 10cm extensions. He shipped right away and the package arrived at my home (in the US) promptly. I expected both the threaded extension and the extension cable to be of very high quality, and I was not disappointed! Everything went together quickly and easily, and the black color matches the Warthog very nicely.
The primary reasons I wanted an extension were to reduce reduce the force required to deflect the stick and to reduce the perturbations caused by the centering force when making fine adjustments around the center, such as when transitioning from <10% up-right deflection to <10% down-left deflection. After installing the extension, I've found the stick much more comfortable to use (not nearly as light as, say, a CH stick but significantly lighter than the stock Warthog) and much more accurate and precise around the center.
Sahaj's extension is a fine implementation of a good idea!
I recently bought a 10cm extension from Sahaj. Good quality product with prompt service and very quick to reply to email enquiries.
Amazing improvement in the Warthog (I use it for flight sim). The flight stick is basically a very sensitive tool that, without an extension, requires quite a lot of force to deflect it in any direction and whilst I love the positive feel that provides it makes very fine movement rather difficult to achieve. After a relatively short amount of practice the extended stick makes small and precise movements easy to achieve. Classic example of a simple idea making a big improvement.
I own an extension that I bought to Sahaj since.. May be two years now. Recently I discovered and ordered his dust cover and I'm very happy with it, so I though it's time to share my experience. The stick cover FULLY protect my 15cm extended stick. I can not tell if the same cover could fully protect a 20cm extended stick.
Nothing to say about the extension itself.. It does the job, I could NOT revert back and use a vanilla Warthog, make no sense to me. I also ordered a stiffer Red Spring to combine with my 15cm extension in order to get back the original centering force we experience with a unextended Warthog. It's a tactile feedback I enjoy.
I'll add picture of the protection to this post when the condition to take cool picture will be met.
Until then here's the extension in his new home. (Yes.. This was an old socks dust cover ^^)
I did not post for a while so I just want to let you know that I am still around and my website is the right place to find some accessories for your Warthog joystick. In the meantime I have added some products to my shop and updated the layout of the website:
I introduced a new VIDEO with stronger springs for the Warthog:
Furthermore I will be introducing new hoodies in the upcoming months and soon I will be adding green, softer springs for the Warthog which have the goal to replace the standard spring.
