Myself and KlarSnow connected via LogMeIn (Hamachi) a while back. It was laggy, but it worked...

The links appear to be down for this. Did anyone happen to save a copy? I found my X-Wing Collector Series CD's in my parents attic while there over the weekend. Really interested in getting this going again!

I will be interested in this at some point as I never finished Alliance when I first got it.

I have this link to archive.org that appears to work, you should be able to do the others

Super bump. Guide has been updated with some new troubleshooting tips for Windows 8 and XvT, and the files have been reuploaded.

I updated the Tie Fighter Reconstructed mod for the GOG.com edition (restores original DOS soundtrack), and separated out the 360 controller instructions for those who have the GOG.com edition and are just interested in setting up the controller.

Thanks for the update, I'll be checking it out tonight as I bought both xwing and tie fighter from gog.com out of convenience. Much appreciated!

Don't even bother trying to get TrackIR to work with X-Wing Alliance.

I remember using mouse-look mode with Track IR 1. Is that disabled in Windows 7?

No, it works fine, but is annoying versus built-in Track IR support, which it doesn't have.

I just installed the Steam version on Windows 7 and Windows 10 last night and it seems to work. Also, I updated it with Dark Saber's Ultimate Craft Pack which also seems to be in good order.

I can't see Blastman's images, and I don't mean to necro, but:

Download the craft pack, the v1.0 patch, effects patch, dynamic cockpits patches, super backdrops patch.
