I want to get a new graphics card. I have AMD Athlon 62x2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ @ 2.64 GHz overclocked. 2gb ddr2 ram. Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS @ 256 mb ram. I would like to upgrade my system. Should I get a faster cpu and keep my current graphics card? Or should I keep my cpu and purchase a 512 or 768mb Nvidia Graphics card. The reason is I would like to create single player missions that have over 200+ soldiers involved and I would like to have great fps out of it. What is the best graphics card out there that can handle such demands without over heating???

can't really answer you question, but you might want to ask it down the hardware forum or over at BI forums.

hmmmm...wasnt there a limit of how many units you could set up in the editor..., plus there is no guaranty that the code in OFP will allow 200+ with good FPS. I'd check over at the BI forums to see if anyone has tried.

dual video cards, some motherboards offer a 2nd slot for additional video card, dont remember if its only for pcie cards though.

ATI was going to come out with a 1 gig card.

Well if you upgraded your Graphics card as a test, you could then at least keep it for when you upgrade your Mainboard/CPU. 8800GTS @640MB RAM are fairly cheap now.
