LOL! \:D

Let's see.....the "poll accountant" huh.....guess it's time for another update:

Yes, I will buy the sim if it ships with less than 100 flyable aircraft when released - 32 (I think)

No, I will not - 0

Undecided - 1

Fans want this sim! It seems aircraft quantity may be taking a back seat to other desired features and quality of build.

Cast your choice now, because it's never too late! ;\)

I don't need a poll to tell me people will accept less when they could have much more.......

FlyXwire, I'm a military airplane fanatic. It's the only word to describe it. I've been hoping a good WW1 sim would come out, to complement the Forgotten Battles, and LOMAC. I'm hoping KOE is every bit as good as it looks. Once I can fly the P-38 add-on in FB, the Eagle in LOMAC, and the SE-5 in KOE, I'll just retire and do nothing but fly simulators!
Just for the record, I'm a pilot myself, with lots of time in antique airplanes. My personal favorite is the Cessna 140, but I have a lot of hours in a 65 horse Cub, and used to own an old 1946 Ercoupe. I've yet to fly open cockpit, unless you count the times I slid open the side windows on my 'coupe, but I can't wait to do it sometime.

Wish I had your flying experience Joe!

I've just flown ultralights, and many years ago at that!

Hentzau and Taco, thanks for your casting your choices! \:\)

Yes I'll buy it with less than 100 planes,
provided that the other features are on par with Red Baron 3D, as has been discussed. Obviously the 3D engine will be vastly superior, but I mean the variable AI with variable smart tacics, replayability, great models, dynamic campaign, engrossing dynamic environment (example other missions in progress, ground attacks, weather), all that stuff that makes us play it 6 years later \:D

Only if it has the ability to use trackIR.
However, that should really be taken as read, but I'm damned if I can get a reply on this issue from the makers of this sim.
Who the hell wants over a hundred planes to fly?
If all other paramters are good - as Slice says- then, with modern graphics convincing you you are flying over "The vasty fields of France ", albeit carved up a bit by the artillery, you will have an excellent sim which should sell really well, even with a dozen planes.

Yes, I will definitely give this one a try. I've been waiting for a good WWI sim for a long time. WWII is done to death, but no one covers WWI much, or Vietnam era jets very well. It's all modern jets or WWII, and if anything different than that comes out, I'll definitely buy it! I'm downloading the "Wings of Honour" demo now.

A new Korea sim, to replace the classic "MiG Alley" would be nice, too, now that XP dominates. Someone is trying to update MA from the source code, but they don't seem to be moving very fast on it, and the current update version seems to lose some of the feel of the original, so I'm not all that happy about it.

But KOE is definitely on my purchase list.

Cheers!

Rick...

Yes, I will buy it even if it has fewer than one hundred planes.
