okay, so i have the SFp1 and WOV... i'd like to get the 104 working in WOV but not sure how to do all of the work. i've heard something about extracting files and moving them, but not sure of it all.

can someone give me a step by step on moving the 104g from SF to WOV. i'm a complete newbie on this in this game.

thanks.

Hey Beowolff \:\)

I haven't got WoV so i can't test it, but I think it'd go something like this.

Copy your objectdata.cat file from your strike fighters install into a new, temporary folder somewhere.

Then using SFPE1 extract all the files. This saves you from clicking a lot \:\)

Then select all the non 104 files, and delete.

Okay now get make a copy of your F-104g folder in the temporary folder, next to the 104 files. Move the extracted 104 files into the F-104g folder.

Now here's where I might be wrong, but you'll need to copy all the f104tailnum***.tga, f104_sqtailr***tga and f104fusenum***.tga files into a decals fodler. I think one needs to be created. Someone will probably have to correct me on this... (*** beings numebrs)

Then copy into the cockpit folder all the files that are F-104_warn.tga, F-104_gau*.bmp, F-104_pit*.bmp and F-104_reflec*.tga.

Everything else should be left as it is. If you want to make sure, copy the other .bmp's and .tga's into the cockpit folder.

Then copy the F-104g folder into the Objects/Aircraft/ folder in your Wings over Vietnam install.

Could someone please correct my steps as I'm not 100% sure ;\)

Hope this works!
