Hi, I downloaded the Tornado Pack from Combatace and installed it right, but every time I try to fly the Game CTD. I have the latest weaponspack and the latest version of the game.
Have someone the same probs with the tornados?

Do a search here for Tornado.

There's a few probs with the initial release of the Tornado that were discussed in detail here when it first came out, including debugging. Once you get it debugged, it's a pleasant plane to fly.

Be advised the Armourdave has a new version in the works that ( Knowing AD's work ) should be problem free...

Would it be worth someone re-releasing an updated version of the excellent Tornado? Of course it would have to be subject to permission from the author.

I've tried a search for the fix for the Tornado but found none. Anyone know where this info is located?

The secret was to search on "Tornado"; which returns a lot more hits, many of which just have the name it in.

Be prepared to be persistent. I had to uninstall SPF a while back due to disk storage shortages. When I eventually upgraded and reinstalled I just have not been able to get the Tornados working properly (I am sure I got them all up and running before however.) I think I have followed all of the tips posted on the posts referenced, including downsizing the skin sizes to 512 by 512 (they were a huge 1024 by 1024 and in any event this improves frame rate) getting rid of the decals, changing some ini entries in the game and nothing yet i stotally satisfactory - some versions in the pack work, most do not.

Pistolpete......make sure your flight model is NOT set to HARD. If it is that's likely your problem if you have done the other fixes.
Works fine on Normal but CTD when set on Hard.

Ok, I can fly the tornado now, but everytime I finish the mission, the game CTD, what is wrong?
