Guys...Am playing with the FMB and was wondering why you can assign an Army colour(Red or Blue) to the lights, smoke etc...

What purpose does it serve?....Am curious to see what its for...

It serve nothing, this is mainly because they belong to a category of items that can have a "side".

Well, searchlights should be nation specific, since shooting them out can be a tactical objective. As for the rest, I guess so Smokey knows who to blame if someone leaves the campfire untended . . .
