I own IL-2:FB and Pacific Fighters, but that's it, and I know the Bf-110 is not flyable in either.

I haven't played these games in a while, but I'd like to get back into it, and I was wondering what route I have to take to get a flyable Bf-110 is one does exist. Is there a certain expansion pack I need?

Any and all help is appreciated. Sorry for the rather ignorant question, but I'm just not up to speed on my Il-2 info these days. I figured this would be a good place to ask.

Well since the only one you are missing is the Ace Expansion Pack, I'm guessing it's in that one! I can't find it anywhere in the readme or online, but it must be included in that one.

I would advise either getting the Ace Expansion Pack (which I hear is hard to find) or just getting IL-2: 1946 because it includes IL-2FB, AEP, PF, plus the PE-2, Sturmoviks Over Manchuria, and 1946 addons. Check it out over at GoGamer.com

get Il-2:1946, no question about it. It collects each and all of the previous packs in a single dvd install.

I don't know much about this new Il-2: 1946 deal. Is is available in stores or is it download or import or what?

Its currently an import if you are in the USA. Though I have seen some posts in various forums stating that it was available in stores in the US. IMHO this is the one to get, as the download version supposed to be available shortly is only an upgrade version, the DVD is the whole thing. All the patches and upgrades on one DVD. I think gogamer.com is currently carrying it, as is nws-online.com. And the 110 cockpit IS fantastic.

So I take it no release date for the U.S. has been announced?

GoGamer in the USA had 1946.

I live in Connecticut and got IL-2: 1946 through GoGamer.com without any problem. Great to have everything on a single disc and not to have to apply any patches!

Oh I didnt realize GoGamer was a U.S. thing. I'd only heard about that website through mention of getting the new ThirdWire sim about WWI called First Eagles. That sim doesn't seem to be on store shelves here, so I assumed the same might be true about Il-2. I suppose as long as it's in the correct format for my PC to run then I'll just get it off that website.

If you order it off the website, do you get the big book that's supposed to come with it and all of the other extras?
