Bought a Russian-made 35mm camera on the cheap at the flea market ("jumble sale" to some here).
The back had a closure problem. Had to be strapped shut with Velcro.

Went to the Airshow to photograph many WWII aircraft. Was very careful on the first film roll to hold the back shut. Velcro seemed to hold fine for the second roll so I didn't worry.
"Be careful when you open the back," I told the photo technician when I took it in for development.
He took the Velcro loose, promptly dropped the roll of film on the floor where it hit just right, and the can came apart, film popped out and was ruined.

"Damn!" said I. "Try this other roll."
I got the second roll back next day. It was completely over-exposed by my cheap camera, also ruined.
