Hi! I bought IL-2 today (Finally!!!) and noticed that I got no force feedback in game, but it works in gaming options. Is there a way to turn it on? And the joystick is MS FFB1
IL-2 is one helluva game!

Does force centering work for you Stuka?
Even after the patch I still get no force centering(MSFF2) so I still play without FF on. I had assumed the patch was to fix the FF centering problem, maybe I assumed too much. Oh well, not the end of the world , would be nice to have FF though.

I guess it works!? But I'm not sure what you mean by centering force

I've got FF1 too. YES centre-ing does work.

It goes all limp (ohh err missus) when mission loading then becomes rigid (ahem) once more.

I must say the FF effects are out of this world esp landing taking off. I can feel the flight envelope being maxed too.

Oleg and Co. are working to resolve the FFB issue with MS FFB2 (USB) sticks. There are several postings on the "official" IL2 tech forum about this problem.

ouh that! Yep it does the same thing to me when the mission is loading.

Yep the FF effects rocks! Especially when you are hit.

Anyone have problems with Saitek's 3D Force stick with IL-2? All settings & tests show it to be calibrated, but have very limited control thru stick on right aileron or rudder. I keep flying into the ground in loop de dooos!

Limited FF effects as well - not at all what I thought I'd see. Nothing when it comes to gettting hit or crashing. Strange??

Would appreciate any input or suggestions for a great FF stick to use in this sim.

Thanks!
