Stickman,

I've found the Michelin company did some reprints of 1947 maps of France for the 50th anniversary of D-Day. These might be interesting to look at.

Sounds like some of these may cover what we need. I hope there is something showing the Dunkerque to St Omer to Le-Touquet-Paris-Plage area. This is the most needed area to be mapped in my opinion.

A Merry Christmas to All!

Bingo!

After quite a bit of searching, I've finally found the pot of gold. This US government site has copies of maps from the 12th Army Engineering Section, from 6th June onwards.
They show roads, railroads and rivers, and are fully zoomable. These show the major roads across France close to the time we're interested in.

If you are even the least interested in the battlelines from 6th June onwards across northern France, then this site will be a great one to visit.

Interesting. You can see where the roads are at least now. I imagine that Rowan put theirs in deliberately (England is very well done) so are the default ones accurate?
