Hey Squiffy, Welcome back. Did you notice that Viper- created a new x8editor for MA that allows a partial custom palette? MA mods should be easier now.

Great news Maususer!

I will have to check it out. I have fixed my trouble with the 2d/3d and the Multi Skin mod. Finally figured out how to use the cmap button as well

Maybe I can tweak the F-84 skin since I have some time over the holidays. Got to get FSM working too.

One question on FSM. Is it necessary to have the bob/ma.exe reproduced in the same folder as your x8 editing work? This has eluded me this past year and I would really like to clean up my folders if I can. Anyway, I will see if this is addressed in Vipers MA x8 mod.

BPL (Boston Public Lib.) is one of the Oldest in the country and has a tremendous collection in general. We have at least 6 archives in music as well as the large research collection. A beautiful old bulding ca. 1895 which is being renovated. John Singer Seargent Murals, a grand staircase, paintings and statuary and two Civil War memorial Lions, dedicated to their regiments who fought then.

A Happy New Year to all!

Squiffy, IIRC the X8editor can be anywhere, the MA/BoB.exe do not need to be included. FWIW, I copy the *.x8 files I want to mod into my x8 editor directory, then manually move them into game for testing. I've never attempted to run FSM on MA (not sure it would even work).

I hope to get more involved in MA mods in the new year. Have a happy New Year!
