This is the first of three new aircraft previews. These three parts will show just how versatile Strike Fighters is. Our journey starts at the end of World War Two:
You may have seen this one before: The excellent model was made by RussoUK2002, who's fast becoming Strike Fighter's resident 3D modelling legend! The skin is P-47N-1 44-88211 Lil Meaties MEAT CHOPPER of Lt Oscar Perdomo, 464th Fighter Squadron/507th Fighter Group, Ie Shima, August 1945, Lt Perdomo was the last "ace in a day" of the USAAF. This is an original skin of mine which replaces the modified MSFS skin.
P-47 Thunderbolt II "NV-K", "HD-247", of 79 Squadron, Royal Air Force, Burma, 1945.
P-47N "NG488535" (44-88535) of the 199th Fighter Squadron, Hawaiian Territory Air National Guard, circa 1947.
P-47N of the Royal Dhimar Air Force, generic desert camo!
P-47N "Icky and Me" , 333rd FS, 318th FG, flown by John H. Payne, Jr., USAAF, Ie Shima, August 1945.
Hopefully Russ will have this one out shortly!
With Part Two we move a few years into the future!
