A lot of people have been asking for this, so here's a sneak preview of Pasko's excellent upcoming Grumman F-9F Panther.

This machine belongs to Ensign Neil Armstrong, USN, of VF-51, Korea 1951.

This machine belongs to 1a Escuadrilla Aeronaval de Ataque as part of the 2a Escuadra Aeronaval based at BAN Commandante Espora in Puerto Belgrano, Argentina, 1958.

This machine belongs to Captain John Glenn, USMC, of VMF-311, Korea, 1951.

You may recognise the names of the pilots of the two US birds....

She's flies like a dream, thanks to an excellent FM by Column5, Pasko's modelling is excellent as usual, I hope my skins can match their efforts.

Hopefully it won't be too long until Pasko is ready to roll.

Keep your eyes out for the panther edition of this show:
http://wings.discovery.com/schedule/anthology.jsp?anthology=12768&channel=WNG

I thought it was one of their better programs.
Looks like the Crusader will be covered (as well as the il2 sturmovik for those FB flyers amongst the crowd)

The Panther episode is called "Cat Over Korea". It doesnt look like it will be out again for a while, but just bookmark that page for when it comes out again.

Looking good, Gramps. One little point: there is no dash between the first F and the 9. Under the old Navy designation scheme, it would be F9F-5. 5th variant of the 9th Fighter produceded by Grumman (whose code letter was F). Might want to make that change on the aft fuselage...

That being said I'd love a copy of these skins--I'm still flying around naked!

Awesome A/C. My father served in the Korean War onboard the USS Princeton from 1950 to 1953. He has plenty of pictures of the Panthers, Corsairs, and AD's and their markings. I think I'll do a Panther from his ship in his memory...Again, Beautiful plane.

Hmm... just an observation, I think the plane could do with a little smoothing where the wing and body intersect. Just an observation, your the experts though.

Grumman jets make me drool. I'm guessing that after this we'll see a Cougar as well? Either way, I'm happy.
