I am coming home for a couple of weeks. The Army is allowing me to come home for three weeks to get some adoption stuff done. I would have loved to have flown the demo for a while to get a feel for it but unfortunately I will be back in Kuwait before it comes out.

Just remember this guys, most of you will be flying the game for months before I get a crack at it. Unless the guys at Ubi want to pony up a new Dell with a GF mobile 4200 in it I don't think I will even get my hands on it until March.

It looks like march now before I come home for good. I thought I could get some air time in with it but at least I will fly some Forgotten Battles before I go back.

Well be careful while you are over there Tom. Not the safest place in the world.

I hear ya' Tom..I think a lot of these people need some "perspective" in life.

A few nights ago I flew a 6 year old girl that learned a few hours prior to me picking her up that she had a lemon sized tumor in her brain, most likely inoperable, and likely fatal within a few weeks. Her first sign was her right leg stopped functioning that morning. I flew her to Raleigh so the doctors there could at least take a look at her. It's sick that people can't have some patience when this girl has probably no more than a couple weeks to live.

Anyway..

Hope to see you back home safely in March...thanks for all you've done for our men and women over there!

One of the guys I hsve been flying simulations online with found out he had lung cancer last month. He has been a member of the squad since Janes On-Line openned. I know he has been waiting on LOMAC like all the rest of us. His clock is ticking louder at this point than any the rest of ours, and he hasn't complained. It's seems some people have a deeper appreciationn on what truly matters.

Hey Tom, if'n I remember rightly, you got a new T-Bird. I guess you'll have to just ride around in that instead of playing the LO:MAC demo. Oh yeah, FB just got patched so make sure you DL that. The P-39 and FW-190A are so good now, they could prolly beat some of the planes in LO:MAC.
