If you break the bananas apart(rather than leaving them connected) they ripen slower.
Interesting...I'm gonna have to try that one. With the warm temperatures in my apartment (I live upstairs with my windows facing towards the west
) leaving my fruit out on the counter doesn't really work, so refrigerating them is about the best thing I can do right now...and eat them fast!
