Howdy been playing GretShot2 its gorgeous, but I did notice some of my planes have grey shadows instead of black, any fix or info on this? Thanks. Also I take it Greatshots 2 does not change stock campaign in any way? Also all Black Adders campaigns say you need to use patch 1.2 any example of what bad or buggy things could happen if I use the 1.1 pc patches?

It seems all of Black Adders Campaigns except GreatShots are just a easier self installing Emils campaign, correct? Thanks for the info and thanks all for making EAW the time machine it is!

You should have no trouble using the 1.1 or similar exe's in Great Shot!, Lonny.
I believe the 1.2 requirement is so that you have the all-important eaw.ini file, which controls so much.
Yes, Black Adder made it easier for everyone to play the scenarios. Which were getting complicated at the time
As far as the grey shadows, (transparent, really) that was a choice of the mod maker. One of the 3DZ files which "draw" the aircraft has a shadow file. Opinions varied on what shadow was better (What a surprise! Glad that never happens now. ;\) )
If you want to learn a little airplane designing, you can start with the shadow files.

Lonny,

you can get a set of replacement transparent shadows for all the default aircraft here :

http://www.sandbaggereaw.com/chompyadd.html

under 'shadow file' heading.

just drop the 3dz files into your main eaw folder and that will fix the shadows for you

cheers,

Pobs
