I seem to be having some trouble importing flyable aircraft in to WOI.

When I got WOE all I had to do to install WOV aircraft was to pick up the folder from the objects/aircraft and drop it in to the same folder in WOE and they worked fine. With WOI it doesn't seem to show up. I've tried following file paths and references but I've hit a dead end.

Any ideas what's different, and how to get them to work?

Unfortunately, I think you will have to wait for the new patch for WOE etc. and then copy your aircraft files. I'm not sure what change in WOI is causing the problems, but I tried adding the F-104, and it flew ok for about a minute. Then, all of the sudden my cockpit disapeared and the Starfighter was flying along with the nose 90^ from AOA. Weird.
There will be patches for the older games, right? Please?
There are a few WOI compatible addons popping up at: http://www.combatace.com/

I've heard they made some changes to the FMs in WOI. Maybe that's the problem. Oh well. Guess I'll have to wait for the patches or the mod updates to install them.

It could be the game, or it could be one of those quantum phenomena. :-)

I think so, plus later there will be Vista versions of all (?) Third Wire games.

The Vista versions will presumably bring them up to the same standard, as well as add some DX10 goodies.
