Angels have been swept. Bring on the Tribe (or the Yankees in case some miracle happens).

As for Joe Torre, looks like he got his final ultimatum from Georgie boy.

I giggle like a little girl everytime I look at the name of my team in the SimHQ NFL Pool. \:\)

The Yankees will of course win this series (and by "win" I mean that they will probably lose 15-3 today) and then face the Red Sox and sweep them (and by "sweep them" I mean watch them on TV).

The highlight of the final Phillies/Rockies games: Matsui draws an intentional walk with 2 outs. It's a crazy post season (here).

The scary thing is that the worst is yet to come. Yes, boys and girls, we get to watch another World Series broadcast with...Tim McCarver...

Bring on Vin Scully. All the rest pale in comparison.

Give me boring TBS coverage over teenage angst ridden FOX coverage any day.

Razor, do you think the Yanks will try to bring Roger back again or will they finally start to go younger on the mound? I gotta say, that commercial of him and his wife is funny! \:D

I also wonder if A-Rod will stay or go.

WEEI has been talking about who the fans want and the majority of them and even a Boston Globe poll said they didn't want to play the Yanks for fear of something happening and the Yanks winning the series.

I don't buy that, wouldn't you want to go through the "best team" analogy. If Clevland beats the Yanks, then the Yanks aren't the best team. I think people prefer the talk between Sox and Yanks, but I'd like to see knew blood. Clevland pitching has been very good this series.
