Was the Tony better than the 109? Seeing that it used the DB I was wondering if it would have been more of a threat in the west if the Germans built and used it too?

I used Hardballs Aircraft veiwer and compared the 2. And it would seem that the 109 was the better preformer. With better Ceilling and speed, although I think the tony was a better Low Level fighter than the 109.
