Every time I try to use F7 as a bind in IL-2 1946 controls screen it does not put in F7. AltF7, CtlF7, SpaceF7, etc all work. When I hit the F7 alone it does not register in the contrls screen. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix this? Also,how can I use the symbals above the number row to bind in the control panel of IL-2? How can I blank the highlighted space to the right of an activity that I do not want anything in? Thank you very much I will be very appreciative of the help.

Do you have another program which is using the F7 key, such as TrackIR? You may need to turn off key binding in that program.

Yes, TrackerIR uses F7 for precision. Thanks alot. Any sugestions how I can bind # sign or others?

Try un-checking the "trap key" option in the TIR "hotkeys" setup tab. I've never used the precision option, and don't seem to have missed it.

You can also change the hotkey setting for the TrackIR software, within the profile being used by IL-2.
