Yep. Last of my flight sim capable boxes died and what's left is either a Sun/Solaris box or running Ubuntu. Not really active with the squad, not really interested in spending more money on a PC, and pretty much have lost the bug for virtual flying. Might be heading out and back to Africa in the next year and it's a waste to let me equipment gather dust. May as well let someone else use it.

Appreciate the kind words, but there really isn't any desire left to do virtual flying. It's not a rash decision or burnout. Just realized that it simply doesn't hold the joy it once did and when my last computer that I flew with died I realized I couldn't justify spending the money just to have one laying around I wouldn't use for gaming. When I am on a computer I'm either coding or doing video editing for fun. Time to clean house and move on...

Is there anything we can do to help with your dead computer? do you know what component is dead exactly?

computers dont just die the way you describe them doing a computers life should go on way past a humans, so what are you doing to them to make them die?

Maybe bad compnents such as ram?
