So do you guys recommend Joint Ops? Is there any kind of singleplayer in it?

Yes, it's a blast. No, there is no real SP.

I tried TS in the past. It sounds like RW--crap. Ventrilo sounds almost as good as a telephone, so I don't bother with TWO crapping vox programs, just one.

I think TS sounds way better than RW.

It's nice too, because you can see who's talking if you aren't familiar with their voices yet.

Ventrillo allows you to see that as well.

As to Joint Ops and how good it is..
I would say it is no better then an average game. BUT, it is an average game that has co-op play in it. If you are big into co-op like many of us are that makes it a must buy game.

If they release a mission / map builder then it should get even better. If they make the AI have any I at all it should be even better still

Game time is bumped up to 9:00, I got home early, game cancelled on account of rain/hail/thunderstorms and associated danger of standing in an open field with an aluminum bat.

If anyone knows where I can get a ventrilo 2.1x server version I'll use it, but until then, we're going to have to use TS.

by the way, for those rejecting TS, the game will be called 'simhq' and the password, amazingly will be simhq.

Get an old version, 2.1x because the 2.2 version has a different license. Requires $$$ for more than 8 people.
