Tanker, read below for information about your TLD that might conflict with BOE and the WF Addon, which had some reserved campaign identifiers. Maybe you can correct this with 1.08 final??

-- -- Original Message for Jumo / SparX below -- --

Why are these 3 files going to overwrite stuff already in the DGEN folder?

campaignsDe9.dat
planesDe9.dat
squadronsDe9.dat

Is this going to break anything?

Tolwyn,

What are those xxxDe9.dat files that you have there already, I don't have those in my stock DGen+BoE v4.01m. I installed the mod in a copy of that DGen and it didn't overwrite anything.

The one labled CampaignsDe9 will tell you what campaign its for.

Those files are part of the TLD 1.07 Beta patch. I made a back-up of those files before installing.

Those files shouldn't overwrite anything already in the DGen folder (unless its a TLD campaign, maybe). Neither BOE nor defauly DGen as a De9 campaign.

These files seem to be part of the TLD 1.07 Beta.

If you allow my files to overwrite something in your DGEN folder then my addon will work without problem, but your TLD 1.07 De9 campaign will not be available any longer.

This is only a problem with TLD 1.07 Beta but NOT with FB/AEP/PF/BOE or TLD 1.0

I think it won´t interfere with the Ostfront expansion as Ian uses other campagn suffixes.

I´ll look for a naming that´s also TLD 1.07 Beta compatible.

I reserved all the numbers ages ago so they will intefere a bit but it's no problem - just choose a spare letter like Q and rename the three files to DeQ or whatever.

There are so many add-ons now that there's no way to keep it straight with everybody's configuartion.

FWIW, I'm using RuK, RuJ, FiJ, DeK for the forthcoming KBF campaign. But they're bound to clash with something.

Bump for Tankeriv, I guess.
We need to establish a more flexible GUID system for campaigns.
