"Last Man Standing"

The movie is long and conveys the length, hopelessness, and eventually the sacrifices made during a bombing mission.
Most of all it was a true story so it has that "Tribute" aspect to it.

My 2 cents.

I'm definitely voting for "I Promise". That evoked such an emotional response from me I've been hooked.

Second would be Purple Heart Alley for the same reason.

There are TONS of top-notch movies though, and all the others noted here are definitely great, but I really like the emotional connection you get from "I Promise" and "Purple Heart Alley".

Requiem! Maybe because it was the 1st film I saw and blew my socks off, or maybe it's just perfectly composed, paced and orchestrated. Or maybe Pow... no wait... Bellum... or Come With Me... I Promise.........

Requiem IMHO is the best by far:

It is the only player made movie from any game yet that really stirred my emotions. Other films tell a story, too, but this one's got a message! None ever touched me as much as Requiem did (and still does): where other films tell their story about honor and duty and sacrifice in a rather mainstream way (always with a happy-end), this one clip shows the bitter side of it and really makes you think...

A good movie needs more than nice graphics and sound and a happy-end. There are lots of good player made movies, no doubt, but they're competing mainly with focus on cinematics and sound (and I'll admit that Requiem in fact features the absolutely worst version of the Ave Maria of all times) - not the message.

Requiem IMHO yet has to be surpassed!
