I just installed the 2nd patch (from Thirdwire) and I'm now experiencing 10-15 degree (positive and negative) pitch oscillations with autopilot or wing leveler engaged. This is not turbulence related as the bird hand flys relatively straight and level.

Is anyone else experiencing this? is there a fix?

Thanks,

Slick

yeah everyone has it.

Guess we will have to live with it for some time yet, this is no biggie though IMO.

Hitting Shift+A will usually stabilize your own plane.

Some pitch problem is kinda normal on some 60's jets such as the F-105.

The porpoising with autopilot and wing-leveler can be fixed by raising the PitchDamper setting in the [FlightControl] section of the data INI. Try raising it in .20 steps until you get results that you like. The heavier the aircraft, the higher the PitchDamper will need to be to smooth things out.

Thanks C5... I'll do that. The AI wingy has a heck of a time trying to maintain formation when I'm constantly +/- 500FPM.
