I found that book by John Britt, "The Spad Driver"

It seems to be a fiction, but there is no review (on amazon.ca) yet .... has anyone read it?

Also, have any of you read "The A-1 Skyraider in Vietnam, the Spad's Last War" by Wayne Mutza. The reviews seems pretty good:
