Hi TB, I think it's commendable that you're trying to simplify things for inexperienced Windows users. However, I wouldn't spend too much time on it yet, as it's probably going to change to a large degree. I've made a patcher containing all mods (including some new ones) which is fairly intuitive. You won't need the save game crack, or need to hex edit anymore. Probably the only thing you'll need is the No-CD crack, which is not essential, and is available at many sites.

I've created a fairly comprehensive readme.txt, and I'll let people know when I've finished. It would be good to have the files stored on a reliable web site (my free one's too picky). Polovski has a nice site, maybe he'll host files when they're done...

Regards
Andrew

Sounds great Flyby1, and yes your free website is too picky........I've been trying to view your "sneak peeks" for days. \:D

Any chance at a preview of what you've been working on (please no pictures.........LOL)!

Is anyone else playing the campaigns?

Not yet Greg, but I've got WoW up and running on all systems now (been flying mostly Instant Actions as test)! ;\)

It's even running good on a unit with a 800 MHz processor, an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro video card (128 Mb V-RAM), and 512 megabytes of system RAM.

I think this game utilizes the video card's capabilities (as opposed to CPU's power) very efficiently............perhaps the promise of DirectX 9?

She's a pretty smooth puppy, and the flying (within the cockpit on CLASSIC) seems to give good movement as pitch, roll, and yaw attitude changes (I mean there's a nice feel to the way the three-axis of maneuver is coordinated within the aircraft's movement).

Getting more impressed as I fly more of WoW! \:\)

Are you heavily into one of the Campaigns GS?
