I've already seen news about "weight challenged" people suing advertisers and junk food makers for making them fat

Personally I'll pass on the Shade in the summer

That way, I only have to worry about my sweat :p

The USA heavyweight is wearing a Startrek thong :
"this thong boldly goes forth where no man has been..." (and where no man wants to go ).

Correct overweight is a problem here as well.

But take a look at old paintings (Rembrand to stay Dutch :p ). Those women also didn't have the annorexia looks they are trying to let us get used to.
If we just stop looking at them, I don't see a problem at all. ;\)

Here in Puerto Vallarta,Mexico the kids are all healthy tanned (the Playa),and beautiful.
Then around 20 years of age something happens....
Not to everyone, however girls and boys are extremely active, although they are catholic they have babys at 15,16.Then the Mexican diet starts to kick in.Tacos, burritos, chiles abodada's,grease etc, etc, then ....FAAAATTTT!
The boys in all their machismo start drinking beer.Beer at the corner store, beer in the colonias, and barios...beer,beeer ,beeeer.
Then...FAAAAATTTT.
It is for the most part ignorance.
We also have like the US, lots of fatties.
Often times I go out to the airport to pick up guests who stay in my villa, and I watch as they de plane and drag their bags past customs.
They waddle.Thats right. Most Americans who come here get off the plane, wiping the sweat off their faces and waddle, dragging their bags to my SUV. It is rather scary.
I could never imagine how difficult it would be carrying all that weight around every day.Seems like a lot of work.
Getting out of the shower and looking in the mirror.....Yikes!
I'll always fight it
