I played with it for the past 2 days and the outcome is that I will not use this.
It's a shame cause it's actually a brilliant idea but this system is just too ... jittery and imprecise.
If I had no other alternatives I would probably go for it anyway (it's really cheap after all) and I am sure that the developer will spend more time on it, improving it and making it more precise and usable.
As it is now, I will switch back to my old system, which IMO is more precise and a lot more effective (for me at least).
Highlighted in blue is my joystick, in red my normal mouse and in green my "secret track ir"

. That's just a logitech trackball Logitech Marble Mouse USB to be exact (which is for both left hand and right hand) and it's situated on my left side. I use it with my left hand (obviously) and I can pan and track planes with a decent precesion. I bound the right mouse button to "forward view" so when I have to use my left hand on the keyboard or the joystick controls I switch to forward view, do my thing (open the radiator, flaps, throttle, whatever) and switch back pan with the trackball.
For now I will use that. In spite of everything I see no point in wasting 100+ bux on Track IR when my system works just as good (for me) and I am saving to get a Radeon 9700

... that's more important IMO.
