Tell me, what is the difference between the Chaika and the Rata? What do these names mean?

Chaika is Russian for "gull" I believe...Rata was a derogatory Spanish Civil War term used by opponents of the i-16 (Rata="Rat")...the Russian name for the i-16 was actually the Ishak ("Donkey" or "Jackass")
