Thanks, folks.

Moggy: I'll look again at what you did with Dunkirk. I have to confess that SAW has been such an ordeal I haven't actually had the stomach for actually playing EAW for a while! But have all the Dunkirk stuff on my HD.

Mr Jelly: It would be great to have an OAW install version, too. Let me know what info you need.

Cats whiskers mate
It would be wonderful to package this whole deal in conjunction with Mr Jelly's tool (no pun intended)
Probably I am having a bet each way here in view of my enthusiasm for Black Adder's gear but heck he is in Greece for three weeks so what the hell.
A cleanskin Campaign in a "whatever" file with the ability to access a number of "packaged" aircraft with displayed text and "select" various graphics would be the next step in this long lovely road to EAWvolution.
Cambrai.

With four plane sets a simple OAW setup would be to have the individual *.flt, planes.dat, pnames.str, etc, and appropriate skin and cockpit files in four OAW folders named "F-SAW1", "F-SAW2", "F-SAW3", and "F-SAW4".
The remaining common files go into "M-SAW" folder, although you may prefer to keep the terrain set separate in a "T-SAW" folder.

Thanks, Jelly.

That's pretty much the way things are set up for the full install now, except for the folder names. It sounds a pretty simple matter to create an OAW install at that rate.

Am I right in thinking you were offering to create an SAW-OAW self installer? If so, can you proceed simply on the understanding that I'll set up the OAW install on the lines you've just outlined?

Cheers.

I am working on a Beta Package for OAW. Is there a Europe1.pic for SAW- I could not find one in the various zips?

Hi Jelly,

Yes, there is. Do you mind emailing me about this, so I can dig it up off my home computer?

Thanks!
